Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Marrakech – Imlil (1,740m) – Sidi Chamharouch Shrine – Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)
Drive from Marrakech to Imlil trailhead. Meet your guide, cook, and mule team. Begin hiking up the valley alongside the rushing mountain stream. Stop at the pilgrimage shrine of Sidi Chamharouch for a fresh picnic lunch. Continue climbing to the Toubkal Refuge at 3,207m. Hearty tagine dinner and early rest.
Refuge – Mount Toubkal Summit (4,167m) – Descent to Imlil – Marrakech
Pre-dawn summit push at 5:00 AM under headlamps. Reach the summit ridge as the sun breaks over the Sahara horizon. Celebrate at the iconic metal tripod peak with jaw-dropping views. Descend back to the refuge for hot tea and lunch, then continue all the way down to Imlil for your drive back to Marrakech.
